Dancing Dragons:

Dancing Dragons is formed with love by Jennifer and Brian along with their children Devin and Hunter, Jennifer’s cat/familiar Sabrina, Devin’s cat Captain Morgan CandyCorn (kids come up with really great names), the family protector and Doberman Pincher named Ravyne, and Ka our Ball Python.

Jennifer was most recently an executive assistant.  She has been dancing professionally and for fun for over 31 years.  She loves to dance, especially around the fire.  Brian is a Rad Tech (takes X-rays) and a CT Tech.  They both feel a special connection with dragons and enjoy dancing, thus the name Dancing (Jen) Dragons (Brian).  Jen and Brian have been married for 9 years.  They have 2 beautiful boys Devin and Hunter. Their first festival was Beltane where they finally felt like they were home. After attending SunFest for a few years, they were invited to join OWOW and have been working for Pagan land ever since.

Devin is rambunctious boy who enjoys playing outside… anything outside. Scooter, skateboard, basketball, baseball, football, etc. If it is outside he loves it. He also really enjoys playing the WII especially when the OWOW Board gets together and he gets to beat up the adults in boxing. Devin loves to go camping and fishing and really enjoys going to our community gatherings to be with our extended family. He loves to go to the fire and play the drum along with his Dad, but he has to play Rock, Paper, Scissors, Sun, Bombs, Dynamite, Water, Tornado… with his younger brother Hunter to see who gets to play the big drum.

Hunter is sneaky in ways Devin never dreamed. His nickname is Monkey and we learned you should be careful when you give your children a nickname. He really is a monkey. There have been several times that Jennifer has caught him hiding in his bedroom eating ice cream from the freezer that he can’t reach. If there is candy or gum in a room, he’ll find it. He adapts very quickly to stumbling blocks and will find a way around them to the prize. Don’t tell him not to do something, cause that is the first thing he’ll try to figure out a way to do… and then he gives you this cutest look, shrugs his shoulders, and says, “What?”

We are proud to be part of OWOW and are excited to help with the festivals and fundraisers.  It is great to be part of our community and help to make our festivals more kid and family friendly.  We are excited to work towards Pagan Land where we can all feel safe as we worship as families, adults, and children.

It is never too late to dance like a child… with abandon.
