George

George has followed a pagan path for most of his adult life. He had practiced his beliefs alone since the 70s and only started working with the local Pagan community in the 90s. George was raised with many of the family traditions that his parents had followed. With this as his basis, he has developed his beliefs and has continued to grow on a personal level.

George is with OWOW because they are a caring group who have a goal and provide a valued service to the community through the festivals they work to sponsor. He also believes that the goal to purchase land to be held in trust for the Pagan community is one of the things that will help us all grow in the future.

I have been on my path for many years exploring spiritual beliefs other than the one I was born into.  I would consider myself ever the student, continuing to attend classes and reading, taking in what resonates and casting aside what is false for me. My life’s work has been in heath care and currently I work in two professions. Forty years have been spent in the dental field and several as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine. I enjoy the challenges both bring and the growth they both demand. I would consider myself an Energy worker as I touch patients in such an intimate way and affect their lives in such a profound one.

George and I support OWOW and its efforts to attain a permanent home for the Pagan community to share.
