Pongo Fund
FOOD: The Pongo Fund welcomes donation of quality dog and cat food, both wet and dry. And we use a lot of it, providing millions of healthy meals each year to keep hungry family pets well fed when their own families are unable to do so. We use the most nutritious foods because we strongly believe the animals deserve that. We appreciate every donation, and there are no particular brands that are more important than others. Please note that due to the possible allegiance with allergies, we strive to avoid foods with corn, soy or wheat when possible. Some of our favorite foods can be found at your local pet supply store, at Chewy, at Amazon, and also the Costco Nature’s Domain and Kirkland Select dog and cat food. We can also provide suggestions if you need them.
Please note that per health and safety guidelines, food donated to The Pongo Fund must be unopened and unexpired. Also, please do not ship donations to our street address as we are not always onsite to receive them. To schedule shipment, please contact us via phone or email.
KENNELS, TOYS, BOWLS, ETC: We can use hygienically clean kennels, new and unused toys, metal food bowls and certain other supplies. Please call or email to let us know what you have.
GIFT CARDS: We welcome gift cards to Costco, Chewy, Petsmart, Fred Meyer, Visa and others, and also various gas cards. When possible, please include the gift card receipt confirming the gift card amount so we have a way to follow up in case there is an error with the card ***We do not use Target or Petco gift cards.***
WE CANNOT USE fresh, frozen or refrigerated food, and at this time we do not need medications nor prescription food. Currently, we are not in need of collars, harnesses, leashes, towels or blankets.
UNUSED MEDICATION: At this time we do not need medication.
PRESCRIPTION FOOD: At this time we do not need prescription food.
If you have questions about donations, please contact us via phone or email.
If our donation drop-off schedule is not convenient for you, please email info@thepongofund.org or call 503-939-7555.
